We had a family day on saturday. Rowan suggested that we "go up a mountain" so we set off for Buckden Pike in the Dales. It was cloudy and cold, 4 degees [but dry] when we set off. Soon we were rewarded with a beautiful still day with dappled sunlight and a great walk. There was ice towards the summit and plenty of potholes to look into.
