Preston North End are heading for relegation from the Championship. The mistake was to have anything to do with Alex Ferguson [his son was PNE manager]. So it will be back to the lower leagues for a few years. My dream of ever seeing them in the top flight looks to be staying that way; the two play-off finals seem a long time ago.
Looks like cousin Will's team, Ipswich, may well join us down there.
