Danielle's friend Jenny came up for the weekend. We watched the York-Lancaster rowing race on the Ouse [with free wine and canapes, on account of Danielle being on the board of York University] then cooked a curry to have whilst we watched the Eurovision song contest [terrible songs, comedy voting, but good fun].
