Engineering

Rowan was part of a three-girl team from the Mount that took part in an engineering challenge event at the National Railway Museum. They had to design and build a coin sorting gadget, which they managed. They came 5th out of 26 schools, which is pretty good I think; girls were thin on the ground.

Rowan has also been selected to play Hockey for York schools - this is despite us all showing little enthusiasm for it [she does have quite a lot of sport on]. Oh well.
