I drove to London to take the exhibition down yesterday. Setting off at 5.30am I noticed that it was 1 below, when it had been predicted to be a non-freezing night. In the first 30 miles of my journey I saw 8 separate car crashes, several with mass police/ambulance/fire attendance. Black Ice. Until the temperature crept above freezing south of Sheffield I [and most other folk] drove at 40mph and hoped.
Then in London it rained in a biblical style as I delivered photos to various people who had bought them from the show.
Got home at 9pm vowing never to drive to London again - I should be able to keep to it too.
The photo is from the Wolds last week. Spot the faithful hound.
