Victoria was a young woman with severe learning disabilities for whom I helped set up her independent living scheme in her own flat. I had most to do with her indefatigable parents, for whom I had much respect. 20 years after we set up the scheme, Victoria has died, way longer than she was "supposed" to live. It has been a truly ground breaking and successful scheme, written up in the book Home At Last
