I put this shot in the show for the first time. I really like it - it seems as if the saplings are reaching up and pleading. For all of Friday and Saturday and Sunday morning no one even commented on it, let alone liked it. Then two people said it was one they really liked, so I was very pleased at that.
The fact is though that some shots have very limited appeal, and this is one of them. It is something I have got used to; a question of striking a balance between showing what people like [and will buy] and showing what I like.
