Tatton Sykes

Sometimes things just work out. After a long long day in Wales I promised myself a Wolds walk, only to be greeted by a miserable morning with heavy rain. I headed off anyway and by the time I got there the sun was in a cloudless cold sky - beautiful. I had a great walk up to the Tatton Sykes monument which is part of the Sledmere estate http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sledmere_House . When I got back to York the rain started again ...
