Another picture from ExCel last weekend.We had the architect come around today to talk about our extension. It went very well, no one mentioned Grand Designs [UK TV program http://www.channel4.com/4homes/ontv/grand-designs/] , and he seemed to understand what we were after. What we are looking at is putting a second floor on half the house, with access to the roof. Seems the best way will be to suspend the new flloor above the house, and connect it via a staircase alongside the house. Very exciting, and probably too expensive, but good so far.
