Owl

We all saw a Tawny Owl on the bird table, and then looking rather bemused sat upon the trampoline for a couple of minutes.

I am not sure what it was doing out in the daytime, but it was a great sight.

Had a great sunday lunch with friends Cathy and Chris and family: the twelve year old said "I did like your beetroot soup" --- my kind of guest.
