We have been watching America by Alistair Cooke on rented DVD. It is a great watch. Although over 30 years old it is very relevant and full of interest. It is really a series of lectures with the great man standing in various locations across the States to deliver them.
The Hawthorne was in full bloom on our Pennine trip.
