A beautiful day took us through the Lincolnshire Wolds [not a patch on the real Wolds but still very beautiful] and into Lincoln city where we stayed in a great 60s hotel right opposite the magnificent cathedral. This is one of the Sustrans way-markers which crop up every so often.
