Day 6

The final day of walking saw us at Lochaline, the only village in Morvern. It was typical of the highlands in that it has unashamed heavy industry going on. In this case, the extraction from mines of high quality sand for use in high-end glass ware. A big operation with trucks charging around. I quite like it.

We walk by the sea loch, and see an otter. Earlier in the day we had seen a sea eagle, and met a woman who had had a dog very similar to Layla, a Bulgarian Shepherd as opposed to Layla's Anatolian Shepherd heritage. The photos she showed us made them seem identical.

Coming back to the village by a forest path I got this shot. Could be a keeper, it has a had a good instagram feedback.
