If it's Sunday it must be ... Cleckheaton. Rowan was at the finals of the West Yorkshire Athletics League. Clecky forms part of my favourite triumvirate of place names - Cleckheaton, Heckmondwike and Liversedge - all within a mile or so of typical west riding valleys.
Rowan won the high jump and decided to do that "biting the gold medal" thing that all winners seem obliged to do.
