Real Ale

I love the idea of real ale. I just don't drink that much of anything. But friend Patrick and I thought we should go and visit the York Real Ale Festival last night http://www.yorkbeerfestival.org.uk/2012/ We had a couple of pints - one of York 800, to celebrate 800 years of York being a city, and one of something I can't remember what is was called. A friend told me, with great pride, that it had won a prize and that he had a hand in it being commissioned from the brewery. The prize must have been for "darkest, strongest most dodgy pint". We survived.
