No Foul Brood

Danielle had the bee-man visit yesterday. He arrived in his Reliant Robin and gave the verdict on the alleged American Foul Brood - it wasn't. This was very good news, the books say you have to deal with by digging a hole and burning the hive and bees in it - sounds gruesome. What has happened is that the Queen from one hive has gone, so we have had to merge two hives into one super hive - a bee towerblock. Danielle found four more frames of honey as well, so the bees are still working hard.
