Way Out Wednesday

A day off together. Of all the exciting possibilities we chose the really crazy option - cleaning the house together. It was actually quite fun, we put on a Derwood album - Moondogg, and got on with it. We had been to the gym after dropping off Rowan at school which had been fun.

Danielle made some Squash Gnocchi http://www.riverford.co.uk/en/recipes/recipe.php?recipeid=197&catid=3 which was really good, and looks like a good way of using up all those squash that hang around the kitchen.
The vegetable garden is moving on to autumn. The potatoes have not done too well, but the beetroot and beans have made up for it.
The photo is from the Austria trip, testing the local beer - it passed.
