Ted and I cycled out to Ampleforth to see the British Road Race Championships. Had a good ride out, saw the final lap of the women's race, then watched the men for 3 laps - this is the start of the break that became the race-winning move with Sky's Alex Dowsett at the front.
We watched at Crayke where we had a long chat with someone who turned out to be Phil Griffiths [legendary ex-pro and manager] - interesting.
