Bridge Across the Flood
Taken last year in the Duddon valley in the Lake District. There had been a massive thunderstorm and downpour which quickly translated to a river in flood. I was walking through the wood to explore, and wondered how I was going to cross the river and get back to our cottage. Then this sturdy stone bridge appeared and safety was assured.
I have a feeling that this shot might just pass people by and not attract much interest. But you never know, and I would love to be surprised.
