Travelling back from DC. We managed to get bulkhead seats with extra legroom. Three seats wide, we had two of them. I was next to a pleasant enough bloke. We passed the usual small talk between us, legroom, airline food, Washington etc. Not sure how but our circling conversation brought us to music. "I like punk rock and dub reggae" said the successful academic who worked for a Dutch company and travelled the word. "Slaughter and the Dogs?" I asked, a test to find what level we were talking about. "Oh yes, love them, got all the albums". He had even heard of Martha, a current band from County Durham who are a family favourite. So that was the return trip taken care of, a good few hours spent on music and more. Atilla's father was a Hungarian refugee from 1956, so plenty to talk about there too.
