Rowan is away on a school trip in the Lakes, so Danielle and I went on a Groupon two night stay near Thirsk in a great gastro-pub the Kings Arms
http://www.thekingsarmssandhutton.co.uk/ . The weather was great, we took the bikes and had a lovely time. The first day we walked down the River Swale which flows calmly at this time of year.
