After the various horrors of the organised birthday parties of the past it was a relief that Rowan chose to go to Wagamama with four friends for a meal for her birthday this year. It all went well, the weather fears were unjustified, Danielle and I ate in peace round the corner and the cake arrived. As we were not there [except to pick up the bill] there are no photos - this is Rowan on her return from the meal.
