We visited the Catholic Cathedral in Liverpool, I am not sure I went even once when I was a student there. It is a fantastic building, I was completely floored by what beautiful functional architecture it is. 50 years old but totally timeless. I really loved it. Meantime the Anglican Cathedral down the road, which was still being completed when I lived in Liverpool, looks increasingly out of place and out of time.
