Last nights committee meeting of the Friends of Hob Moor was really interesting. This seeming oxymoron came about as we walked the moor deciding where to plant hedging and trees. We have £10K to spend, [mainly from book sales] and are looking at the best places to plant things.Fortunatelyy everyone was agreed that a hedge on the other side of the beck from us was a good idea. This would be really nice for the moor, the birds, and for us.
