Rowan was nine yesterday. Her present from us was a goldfish in a tank. He is called Gerald and has a very idiosyncratic nature. We will go and get his partner later in the week [you can only introduce one fish at a time - it is all very technical; makes you wonder how fairground fish in a bag ever survive]
