The task of trawling old albums for tracks to transfer to the PC goes on. I have just been through the Philly Soul boxset. How good it sounds. For Danielle the music is too old [the sort of thing her parent's liked] and too close to home [Philadelphia] for her to like it like I do. It is strange how musical taste is so bound up with personal circumstance. It can work to your advantage:- I always steered well clear of Cliff Richard on account of him being my sister's favourite.
