We christened the sloe gin last week, when Carl and Jill were here. It tastes great, a real liqueur - although I always feel that a recipe that includes the words "take one bottle of gin" is a bit of a cheat. But the still will have to wait.
I have the weather for York, London, Philadelphia and Yucca Valley California on my desktop just to see how friends and family are getting on. The first snow of the year fell in........ California, which is pretty amazing, but I have the video from Derwood to prove it.
