If you follow the link to last year's entry for today http://palmour.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/spring.html you will see that it was "A lovely spring day, wearing shorts". This year the snow is just starting, the temperature is below zero and spring is the last thing on our minds.

The cattle are back on the sodden, frozen moor, looking bemused at the frozen ponds.
