Rowan went on another Running Wild event. On the Pennine cycle ride I saw a Little Owl, http://www.rspb.org.uk/birds/guide/l/littleowl/index.asp and we heard lots of Curlews http://www.rspb.org.uk/birds/guide/c/curlew/index.asp .
The photo is of gorse at Minsmere. It has a scent of coconut and is always in flower, hence "when gorse is out of flower, kissing is out of fashion"
