I had a meeting in Barnes in west London this week. A lovely area which now has the London Wetlands Centre
http://www.wwt.org.uk/visit/london/ in its midst. It is a beautiful spot, and you can believe yourself far away from the city [apart from the planes incessantly en route to Heathrow].
