the GAN

After reading The Great Gatsby with Rowan, I am just about to finish Tom Woolfe Bonfire Of The Vanities which she also has to read. I have never read it before, it is an amazing book, really good and strangely timeless [written in 1984 it still seems totally relevant]. Then I have been listening to The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen which was OK but not as good as Tom's. So all in all I have had my fill of the Great American Novel for a while.
