On the train through Sleaford, I was amazed to see a line of 8 huge derelict buildings - the Maltings http://www.theheritagetrail.co.uk/industrial/bass_maltings.htm It is a truly bizarre sight, this massive hulk in the middle of the fens. I will have to go back to photograph them before they either get renovated or demolished. I found another blogger who had the same experience http://www.jessicacharlesworth.co.uk/page24.htm [scroll down a bit] which is strange.
