Dave, Eddy and I went on a bike group bike-ride on sunday. It rained. A lot. But we still enjoyed it. I looked around at one stage, seeing the water bouncing off the tarmac thinking how it must look terrible from the warmth of a car; but for us, generating body heat from the exertion, it was OK. But it was good when it stopped. We had a break at Bolton Piercy where the locals, including the vicar, were very friendly - and a little bemused.
