After several attempts Rowan has been awarded a Blue Peter Badge. English readers will know the enormity of this event. Suffice to say that it makes the Nobel Peace Prize look like winning the sack race. When Danielle broke the news to Rowan she went running round the playground for five minutes before getting round to opening the envelope. She was awarded the badge for a toy catepillar she made, and sent an e-mail to Blue Peter with a picture of it [coming tomorrow]
