The hot air balloons have started flying again. Yesterday evening the familiar sound of their burners alerted us to two flying low over the house. The photo shows the balloons, the cows and the cherry blossom in the garden, all three are signs of summer.
Today Rowan went to a party in the morning, so I went a walk along the River Ouse. Saw two Wheatears http://www.rspb.org.uk/birds/guide/w/wheatear/index.asp which was a nice surprise.
Danielle and Jenny have gone to the Turkish baths at Harrogate for a pampering. http://www.harrogate.gov.uk/harrogate-1397.
