Lazy Ash

The tree over the trampoline is a large Ash, that grows on the bank of the beck. We call it the lazy Ash, it is still not in leaf, usually take till the end of May, and then it is the first tree to loose its leaves in the autumn.

The photo is of a field of oil seed rape near York. Danielle was considering putting one of her hives in a rape field [with the farmers consent] but will probably leave it this year.
