North York Moors

Today is the day. A Bank Holiday so we are both off work AND Rowan is at school. We make the most of the day and go up to the North York Moors for a walk on the old railway line at Blakely right on top of the moors http://www.touristnetuk.com/ne/NYM/towns/rosedale.htm . We see Lapwings http://www.rspb.org.uk/birds/guide/l/lapwing/index.asp and grouse and kestrels and curlews. It is a beutiful day and great to have a good walk together.

Pick up Rowan from school, and see lots of other couples enjoying rare time together, it is a bizarre sight, normally you only see one at a time...
