Yesterday was Rowan's 12th birthday. The parties have got less fraught over the years; this year's was a pleasure. Rowan and 5 friends had a scuba diving party at the sports centre and they provided all the food, organisation etc. All we had to do was turn up with the cake. And pay. Well worth it though. Previous years have included, rock-climbing, train-ride, roller-blading, science party, sleep-over, and trampolining as well as general mayhem-at-home parties.
