We were at Edwards for a New Years Eve meal and games. Great time. Someone had brought some Chinese Lanterns to let off at midnight. They were fantastic and roared across the York sky for what seemed like miles [just short of Orion's belt I reckon]. The photo shows Rowan and Sharon just about to launch Lantern number 1 into near earth orbit

Happy New Year
