Rowan and I went to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie at the dreaded multiplex. Despite my worse fears [it is directed by Guy Ritchie] I really enjoyed it, and considered it a pretty good interpretation of the books. Rowan was less sure.
New Years Day we went for our traditional lunch at at Patrick and Julia's. There were 11 of us all together; it is a great way to start the year.
