Rowan took part in the play done at Quaker meeting by the children. It was a really good play about conscientious objectors in the first world war. She played a mother reading a letter from her imprisoned husband to her sons. If it all sounds a bit dry, it was great fun with plenty of laughs [quite a few due to the low level of rehearsal]
