It was the Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend. This involves recording all the birds you see in one hour sometime over the weekend. It is freezing cold here so a lot of the birds, especially the finches, seem to be staying in by the fire. We had 12 species this year which is down on last year [13], but up on 2008 [11]
